Going "into town" to Tyler or Longview was a treat for me because it meant I could go to a fabric store . . . and dive into pattern books and spend time adoring fabrics!
Being isolated without much inspiration, I dove into my magazines too. It was a little weird being fashion-y in a small town school. The bus driver who picked me up in the morning always said I was the best dressed. Little did she know . . .
That was probably because I made my own clothes to suit my body shape, and I hope you get similar satisfaction out of sewing clothes made to flatter you!
